Description
On January 31, 1954, a ceremony titled "Unveiling of a Portrait of James H. Halsey" took place at 4:00pm 1/31/1954 at Fones Hall. This is the portrait of James H. Halsey, the 2nd President of the University of Bridgeport, following the 1st president, E. Everett Cortright. The portrait was painted by W.L. Kolb. There was an invocation, a welcome address, music, comments by the artist and a benediction.
